Active Living Guide

Vikes Active Living offers an assortment of programs and sports for students, staff and faculty and the wider Victoria community. Everyone is welcome to enjoy our programs and facilities in a safe, inclusive environment—improve your fitness, meet new people or just have fun!

Vikes Athletics and Recreation consists of a wide range of athletic and recreation facilities including the Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA), McKinnon Gym and Pool, outdoor artificial turfs and world-class field hockey pitch, as well as the Ian Stewart Complex ice rink. CARSA houses a number of facilities: a 2,100-seat performance gym, a multi-purpose fieldhouse, a two-level fitness weight training facility, the CARSA Climbing Centre, dance space, dedicated TRX and spin classrooms, yoga studios, squash courts, a rowing ergometer centre, and a sports injury clinic.
