🌞 Vikes Summer Camps are coming! 🌞

We are excited for the return of summer weather, summer holidays and of course Vikes Summer Camps! Keep your kids busy and active with a variety of fun indoor and outdoor camps over the summer.

Registration for summer camps is on April 3 at 6:30AM! Programs and weekly schedule can be viewed now in the summer camps section.

Vikes Active Living youth program - Girls Rugby Academy

Girls Rugby Academy

Vikes Women's Rugby and BC Grassroots Rugby Foundation are excited to partner together and bring you the Vancouver Island Girls' Rugby Academy- summer session. The academy will combine on-field rugby skills, functional movement skills, speed and conditioning to help local female (including female identified / non-binary) athletes prepare for the upcoming season, representative rugby and university rugby.

Includes:

  • T-shirt
  • Technical skills development
  • Tactical skills development
  • Positive, safe and innovative learning environment

Vikes Active Living youth program - Spring Break Half-day Climbing Camp 2

Spring Break Half-day Climbing Camp 2

$250

Vikes climbing camp will introduce children to the world of rock climbing in a safe and fun environment at our Climbing Centre in CARSA. Qualified instructors will lead and teach activities that include basic climbing techniques, safety and games (both on and off the wall). Both the bouldering wall and climbing tower will be used..

Class level: All welcome. Beginner friendly 😊.

Youth: 9-12 years

Equipment: Necessary equipment is provided.

Location: CARSA Climbing Centre
Dates: March 27 – March 31
Program intervals: Runs 1 time(s) for 5 half-days each
Time: Monday at 8:45AM–12:00PM • Tuesday at 8:45AM–12:00PM • Wednesday at 8:45AM–12:00PM • Thursday at 8:45AM–12:00PM • Friday at 8:45AM–12:00PM

Vikes Active Living youth program - Vikes Long Term Athletic Development - Invasion / Speed Power Sports

Vikes Long Term Athletic Development - Invasion / Speed Power Sports

$475

This training program is for healthy athletes between the ages of 13 and 18. Athletes will increase performance by developing competency of key movement and developing strength and power. Athletes competing in volleyball, basketball, hockey, football, rugby as well any other sport that requires high levels of athleticism would greatly benefit from this program.

Location: Centennial Stadium Weight Room
Dates: January 16 – May 5
