Parking

UVic offers provides a safe walk service through Campus Security. The service is available to members of the University Community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The escort service is provided from building to building, building to vehicle, and vice versa. Program details available on the campus security page.

CARSA and McKinnon

Daily and hourly parking is available in the CARSA Parkade (off Vikes Way) or in Lot 2 (off Gabriola Road and across from the McKinnon and CARSA buildings). Dispensers accept Canadian coins (25¢, $1, $2), Visa and MasterCard. Pay parking is in effect 24 hours a day except on Sundays or statutory holidays. NEW! Remember your license plate number to pay for parking.

Daily: $9
Evenings (6-11:59PM): $3.50
Saturday day: $3.50
Holidays and Sundays: free

Access to CARSA for the weight room, fitness classes, field house, squash courts, change rooms and climbing is through the main sliding doors at the entrance closest to the artificial field hockey pitch and the McKinnon Building.

For access to the Vikes Athletics and Recreation offices please enter through the parkade stairwell (Level P3) on the north east corner of the building. This stairwell and elevator are accessible to the right of the game day ticket entrance on Gabriola Rd. but closer to McKenzie Ave. Office hours are from 8:30-4:30PM Monday to Friday.

Ian Stewart Complex

Daily and hourly parking is available at the Ian Stewart Complex (off Gordon Head Road) in lots ISC 1 and ISC 2. Dispensers accept Canadian coins (25¢, $1, $2), Visa and MasterCard. Pay parking is in effect 24 hours a day except on Sundays or statutory holidays. NEW! Remember your license plate number to pay for parking.
