Intramurals Updates
Make friends. Enjoy competition. Get active. Have fun.
UVic hosts one of the largest post-secondary education intramural programs in B.C. open to students, staff, alumni and community members. With a wide variety of sports and activities, intramurals are available to anyone on or off campus with a strong focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for people of all ages and skill levels. Intramurals contributes to student wellbeing through physical activity and personal wellness while building a community. Make friends, get fit, have fun!
Intramural leagues take place on campus using the many indoor and outdoor facilities including the fields, gymnasiums and the fieldhouse.
Participants have the opportunity to create their own team of friends, classmates, community members, etc. Those without enough players to form a team can register as an individual and be placed on a team still looking for players.

Vikes Intramurals is committed to creating more equitable and inclusive environments. With this commitment, we have removed our binary approach in relation to gender identity and/or expression restrictions. We acknowledge that our work is ongoing and ever-changing and we will be sending an evaluation at the end of the spring 2023 term, to evaluate the change.
