Looking for exciting ways to keep your kids active this year? Vikes camps offer everything from high performance sport camps, to sport development, climbing, outdoor, and non-competitive recreational camps.
Vikes Athletics and Recreation offers youth camps for children ages 5 to 17 years old. In addition to our popular summer camp program, we have expanded to include camps over winter break, spring break and pro-d days. Using both indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and fields on the University of Victoria campus, our experienced Vikes camp leaders will guide campers through a variety of games and activities. Campers will develop new skills, meet new friends, explore creativity, and experience exciting activities in a fun, safe and positive environment.
Throughout the year we have a number of different camps: seasonal camps (spring, summer, winter) over the school holidays.
YOUTH WELCOME
Come and compete at our Vikes March break camp where we will focus on skill development, 3 on 3 mini games and 5 on 5 full court competition. Come and meet Vikes coaches and players and use the break to improve your game! All Levels welcome!

Spend your Pro-D-Day with the Vikes! Fantastic Vikes camp leaders are back to plan a day filled with games, sports, crafts and more! Campers will also get some time on CARSA's climbing wall on both the bouldering wall and climbing tower.
Requirements: Children 5 years of age must currently be attending kindergarten
Class level: All welcome.
Youth welcome: 5-12 years
Equipment: Necessary equipment is provided.

NEW YOUTH WELCOME
Want to build the kind of mindset that helps you stay calm under pressure, shake off mistakes, and stay focused no matter what? The camp aims to sharpen your mental skills allowing you to bring out your best whether that be on the field, on stage, in class, or anywhere else life throws challenges your way.
You’ll move, reflect, and learn through fun activities and hands-on practices from the RESET program (Resilience and Enhancement in Sport, Exercise, & Training). These tools are used by top student-athletes and performers across North America.
This week-long, half-day camp is all about helping you:
Meet Your Coach: Dr. Sharleen Hoar
Dr. Sharleen (PhD., CMPC) is a Certified Mental Performance consultant who helps athletes and performers train their minds like they train their bodies. She’s worked with youth, elite, and Olympic athletes for over 25 years and brings tons of energy, experience, and heart to every session.
If you're into sports, arts, or just want to handle pressure better, this camp will help you grow your mindset and walk away feeling stronger and more in control.
*Please note that an optional work book is available for this camp at an additional cost of $65.

Come join the Vikes camp crew on your spring break for a week of sports, adventure and fun! Activities will include sessions on our climbing wall, swimming, scavenger hunts, plus various sports skills and individual play! We'll also include some quieter time for arts and crafts. Dress your child for the weather, as the camp will be held outdoors.

Join the Vikes men's basketball team and coaching staff for a fun and challenging three day basketball camp. This camp is designed to help you improve individual skills and team strategies essential for overall basketball development. Each day will be packed with games, competitions, and chances to win prizes, including Vikes tickets! Whether you're new to the game or an experienced player, all skill levels are welcome. Run by Vikes players and coaching staff.
