Marine Basic First Aid & CPR-C (Blended)

$190

Our Canadian Red Cross Marine Basic First Aid & CPR Level C Blended course is a fun and comprehensive first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course designed particularly for those who work in marine environments. This is a blended course, so combines self-paced, online instruction with a face-to-face, in-person skills session led by one of our fantastic instructors.

The Marine Basic First Aid course skills are very similar to the Standard First Aid course—the main difference is that the scenarios used are taken from the marine/fishing industry. This course meets the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E.

We truly believe that first aid is a physical skill, and the majority of your in-person session will be spent doing hands-on first aid and participating in realistic first aid scenarios, developing confidence and muscle memory. At the end of this course, participants should feel sure of their skill and confident to act in an emergency.

Requirements: The online module must be completed before you come in for the in-person portion, and will take up to 8 hours to complete. You can start and stop as many times as you'd like while you work through it, and it can be taken up to 4 weeks ahead of your in-person course.
