The new Vikes Yoga Plus membership is coming to CARSA this fall!

This fall we are excited to launch a trial of the highly request Vikes Yoga Plus membership at CARSA. Yoga Plus combines two popular activities at CARSA: yoga (obviously) and the Fitness Weigh Centre.

We'll be running a variety of class throughout the week with different styles and accessible to everyone regardless of skill level: Beginner Yoga, Hatha Flow, Power, Yoga Fusion and much more!

We're excited to launching this new membership and hope you join us!

We also have Registered Fitness programs and Group Fitness classes offering a variety of other activities including: cardio kickboxing, spin, pilates, HIIT, strength training, Ballet Barre, Zumba and more!

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before class begins. In order to preserve the experience for all participants and reduce the risk of injury, we cannot admit anyone who arrives after the scheduled class start time. Arriving late to class may result in a no show. Yoga studio doors will be locked once a class has begun.

Beginner Yoga

New to Yoga? No problem! This program is designed for the beginner with NO prior Yoga experience. Learn the foundational postures to create more flexibility and comfort in the body. Postures will be broken down to show proper alignment, breath and core control. BYOM - Bring your own mat.

Take time to tune into your body and release the everyday hustle and bustle! With a strong focus on breath and gentle flow, you begin to come out of your mind and into your body. This class will leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed, replenished and ready for the days ahead! BYOM - Bring your own mat. All levels welcome.

Hatha Flow Yoga

Take time to enjoy a stretch, reduce stress and renew your energy. Novice participants will be introduced to relaxation through the basic practice of Hatha Yoga postures. Continuing students will benefit from the opportunity to go deeper into their practice. No yoga experience required.

Morning Flow

Wake your body gently with invigorating sun salutations to bring energy to your day. Flow from one energizing asana to another while linking each movement with your breath. Open your heart, shoulders, hips and back while strengthening and toning your core, arms and legs. BYOM - Bring your own mat. All levels welcome.

Power Flow Yoga

$20 included with membership**

Like Yoga? Want a good work out? Want to do both but don't have time? The Power Hour is a 55 minute power flow yoga class designed to allow you to practice yoga and to strengthen and tone your body. Get your sweat on, flow through sun salutations, and work and strengthen your core! We will work progressively toward challenging poses and every class will include deep stretching and relaxation. You will leave feeling invigorated, alive, and maybe even a bit sore the next day (in a good way!).

Power Yoga

Ignite your internal fire and sweat out stress! This fun, flowing yoga class will energize the body and focus the mind. Utilizing balance, strength and focus, learn to flow from posture to posture with ease. Explore invigorating standing sequences, fun arm balances for strength, back bending for flexibility, and dynamic core strengthening and stabilizing as you flow with your breath. BYOM - Bring your own mat. All levels welcome.

Yoga Fusion

$20 included with membership**

Yoga Fusion is a mat-based, mind-body class that integrates movements from different disciplines. Flow from Sun Salutations, standing yoga and fitness movements, balance poses, and floorwork that incorporates Pilates and fitness exercises, before ending with savasana. This 55 minute class will be the perfect lunch hour reset to enhance your body awareness, muscle endurance, core stability, and flexibility.
