Snow

The UVic Snow Club promotes and encourages the sports of skiing and snowboarding through reduced costs and travel arrangements. We engage participants with skill and safety instruction while on the mountain, as well as promote and host several social activities of interest to outdoor sport enthusiasts throughout the year. The areas we visit are frequently weather dependent. A larger scale trip is planned for the week long reading break in the winter (second) semester of the academic year.

Equipment is not provided to members, although rental can be arranged if necessary. If members possess their own equipment, they are encouraged to bring and use it on Snow Club adventures.

Join the Snow Club

To join the club, a $15.00 membership fee for both semesters can be paid directly through the front desk at either McKinnon Gym, or the CARSA Membership Services desk.
