The UVic Scuba Club is an enthusiastic group of divers that provides scuba equipment, local weekly club dives, night dives or charters, and services through our network of club members and professional divers. Certified divers can join the UVic Scuba Club to meet dive biddies and explore local dive sites via shore and boat dives. Members can rent gear for club events at reduced rates, find out about underwater environmental issues, and join in on "dry" social events. The club partners with Vikes Recreation to offer a full range PADI dive courses, to teach new divers and further the education of certified divers.
Explore the mysteries and wonders of the Pacific Ocean with us! Weekly meetings are arranged with qualified divers and dives take place both off the coast and using local boat charters. This club provides opportunities to test the waters of scuba diving and provides members with chances to certify for upcoming travel plans, for program or job requirements, or out of interest.
