Dance Company

The UVic Dance Company is a collaborative team of dancers attending the University of Victoria in beautiful, British Columbia.

The members meet several times per week to work on their technique, improvisation, performance, and choreography. We practice in various styles of dance including Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Ballet, and Tap.

Throughout the year the company performs on campus and in the community, fundraising for biennial international trips to dance with the industry's biggest names. Members also have the opportunity to choreograph their own pieces for a year-end performance.

Every September, auditions are held by the previously elected president and vice president to fill the remaining positions on the team.
