Ballroom, Latin, and Swing Dance

As a Vikes club, we believe that social dancing improves physical and social wellbeing and enhances quality of life! We offer lessons not only in Standard Ballroom (like waltz, foxtrot, and tango), but also Latin Ballroom, East Coast Swing, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Latin Hustle. You don't need a partner or any dance experience (having two left feet is fine), just show up and get ready to have fun, meet new people, and, of course, learn how to dance!

Saturdays

• 2:00-3:00pm - Latin Sampler
• 3:00-4:00pm - Salsa on 2
• 4:00-5:00pm - UVic Salsa Team

Sundays

• 1:00-2:00pm - Beginner Swing
• 2:00-3:00pm - Beginner Standard Ballroom
• 3:00-4:00pm - Beginner Latin Ballroom

Memberships can be purchased online here or at the CARSA front desk. Please bring confirmation of your membership purchase to your first class.

Cost is $75 per semester. Early Bird rate is $50/semester until Sept 18th.
