Club Update
NEW
The UVic Fish and Game Club is a welcoming community for students interested in outdoor recreation, conservation, and developing practical skills. The club offers a supportive space for members of all experience levels, especially beginners, to learn, explore, and build confidence.
Through a variety of hands-on activities and events, members can get involved in fishing, hunting, trapping, foraging, and sport shooting. Each activity is approached with a strong emphasis on safety, ethics, sustainability, and respect for wildlife and the environment. Experienced members provide guidance and mentorship, helping others develop skills at their own pace.
The club fosters an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere where students can connect with like-minded peers, try new experiences, and deepen their understanding of the natural world. With a focus on science-based conservation and responsible practices, the UVic Fish and Game Club aims to develop knowledgeable, capable individuals who value and protect the natural world.
To join the club, a $??? membership fee for one semester can be paid online or at the CARSA membership services desk.
