Bend, move, stretch, breathe!

The spring edition is now available, running May 6–July 14.

If you are into yoga, meditation and improving your wellness—our mind body wellness membership is perfect for you! Enjoy the flexibility (pun intended 😊) with six classes per week offered mornings, evenings and Saturdays. Embrace the freedom to participate in as many classes as you desire, tailored to fit seamlessly into your busy schedule.

Our diverse team of experienced yoga teachers offer a wide range of styles and expertise catering to all levels of practitioners, from the seasoned yogi to beginners. And if you are brand new to yoga, don't worry—our welcoming environment makes it the perfect place to embark on your yoga journey.


Grab the spring Mind Body Wellness membership to participate in six weekly yoga and mindfulness classes for only $80 (runs May 6–July 14).

You can pick up the membership in-person at CARSA Membership Services or online.

Location

Mind body wellness programs take place in the Nike Serenity studio on the upper floor of CARSA. On arrival notify Membership Services staff for access to the studio. Proceed down the ramp to Fitness Weight Centre gates. Again inform the equipment desk staff of your class participation. Then proceed up the stairs to the studio. View map.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before class begins. In order to preserve the experience for all participants and reduce the risk of injury, we cannot admit anyone who arrives after the scheduled class start time. Arriving late to class may result in a no show. Mind Body Wellness studio doors will be locked once a class has begun.

Bedtime Yoga

$15 included with membership**

Have you ever been so comfortable in a yoga class that you could fall asleep? Calming flow sequences, postures and breath work guide you to release tension and stress in your body and clear your mind. Decompress and prepare for a good night’s sleep and give yourself a chance to recharge for the rest of the week. BYOM - Bring your own mat. All levels welcome.

Beginner Yoga

New to Yoga? No problem! This program is designed for the beginner with NO prior Yoga experience. Learn the foundational postures to create more flexibility and comfort in the body. Postures will be broken down to show proper alignment, breath and core control. BYOM - Bring your own mat.

Take time to tune into your body and release the everyday hustle and bustle! With a strong focus on breath and gentle flow, you begin to come out of your mind and into your body. Power Flow Yoga

Like Yoga? Want a good work out? Want to do both but don't have time? The Power Hour is a 55 minute power flow yoga class designed to allow you to practice yoga and to strengthen and tone your body. Get your sweat on, flow through sun salutations, and work and strengthen your core! We will work progressively toward challenging poses and every class will include deep stretching and relaxation. You will leave feeling invigorated, alive, and maybe even a bit sore the next day (in a good way!).

Power Yoga

Ignite your internal fire and sweat out stress! This fun, flowing yoga class will energize the body and focus the mind. Utilizing balance, strength and focus, learn to flow from posture to posture with ease. Explore invigorating standing sequences, fun arm balances for strength, back bending for flexibility, and dynamic core strengthening and stabilizing as you flow with your breath. BYOM - Bring your own mat. All levels welcome.

Vikes Mind Body Wellness programs - Vin-Yin Yoga

Vin-Yin Yoga

$15 included with membership**

This is a dream come true combo of Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga. The first half of the class will offer an exhilarating Vinyasa style flow set to fun, upbeat music. The second half of class will conclude with a Yin sequence incorporating stretching the deep connective tissue in the joints by holding poses anywhere from 2-5 minutes. BYOM - Bring your own mat. All levels welcome.
