2026 UVic Dance Team Auditions (Day 1)

UVic Dance Team auditions!

UVic Dance Team auditions will be held on September 19 and 20 💙💛.

Sign up via the Register for auditions button, choose a group that works best for you! If selected to take part in the second day of auditions you will receive an email 🤗.

How to prepare:

• Show up 15-20 minutes before your audition group
• Warm-up / stretch in the designated studio (Exhale)
• Make sure to warm up overall technique before your group

What to bring:

• Clothes for jazz tech and hip hop
• Sneakers for hip hop
• Footwear for turns and jumps
• Water bottle

Day 1 - September 19 - Technique / across the floor and hip hop combo

• Warm-up: 10:40-11:00AM
• Group 1: 11:00AM-12:30PM
• Warm-up: 12:25-12:45PM
• Group 2: 12:45-2:15PM
• Warm-up: 2:10-2:30PM
• Group 3: 2:30-4:00PM

Day 2 - September 20 - Callback - Advanced technique / across the floor and jazz combo

• Group 1: 11:00AM-12:30PM
• Group 2: 12:45-2:15PM
