Booking and COVID-19 safety

Important

We request that you DO NOT ATTEND an appointment if you have any signs, symptoms or risk factors for COVID-19, cold or flu-like illnesses including:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Chills
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat or pain with swallowing
  • Stuffy or runny nose
  • Loss of sense of smell
  • Headache (not caused by usual neck problems)
  • Muscle aches
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of appetite

If you have an existing appointment, please cancel your appointment. You will not be charged a late cancellation fee, if cancelling due to illness.

Masks

Wearing a mask is voluntary for staff and patients at the University of Victoria Sports Injury Clinic. If you would be more comfortable if your therapist wears a mask please let us know, or if we see you wearing a mask we will put one on.

Masks will continue to be available in the clinic for staff and patients who feel more comfortable wearing one. In some settings, you must wear a medical mask when requested by a health-care professional.

We are doing everything we can to ensure a safe experience for your visit—please do your part to ensure our safety too!
